Thatch Close Cottages
Date from the 17th century and are set in a quiet secluded location with wonderful views over the rolling hills of South Herefordshire. The three self-contained cottages have achieved an English Tourist Board rating of 4 Star gold to 5 Stars. And have a National Accessibility Grading up to V2, H2, M1 and M3.
The grounds lie within an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Symonds’s Yat, The Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean.
The towns of Monmouth, Ross on Wye, Hereford and the Marches Castles are easily accessible along with unspoilt spectacular countryside.
The cottages are converted barns that have been lovingly restored by local craftsman, incorporating contemporary design and traditional architecture using locally sourced materials.
All have reclaimed solid wood flooring, under floor heating, en suite shower rooms, double-glazing and an air purification system. They also contain Smart HD TVs with Freeview, Blu-Ray players, free WI FI and a HI-FIs.
The three fully equipped kitchens contain an electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and a dishwasher.
Ample level parking is available alongside the barns. The use of a cot is available at no extra cost. Linen and towels are provided free. There is no charge for electricity.
A welcome basket will be waiting to greet you; this will contain a few basics to get you started.
