Dogs at Thatch Close Cottages

Black Labrador Puppy

We welcome all breeds of dog at Thatch Close Cottages, as long as they are friendly and “play well with others”.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing your dog(s) so we can ensure that there is a throw for sofa, and a doggy rub down towel for after they have been out in the fields or a splash in the dewpond.

Cider Cottage and Brambles Barn have enclosed patio areas, and a kennel can be provided if required.

Doggy Rules

  • Dogs may sit on the sofa using the throw provided
  • The beds are for human visitors only
  • Please keep you dog on a lead until they have got used to the surroundings and other visitors

Thatch Close Cottages do not keep livestock in our fields, which are fenced and hedged; however sometimes our neighbours do have livestock in their fields, so please keep you dog on lead if livestock are present. If in doubt, please ask.

If you dog has difficultly with steps, then we recommend the Valley View cottage.
